I put Mulberry Fields and Bowl in the finals. I enjoyed the inner lining story in Mulberry Fields. What caught my attention was when she kept on saying, "I Say" then proceeded to do a line. That stuck in my head. She was really creative about the rocks and how they guarded the fields. Overall, it made for a good  story. I decided to use bowl as the champion of the poem March Madness. Bowl used great words and was a smooth poem. It explained all you can do with a bowl. What you can become with a bowl. It was more creative then Mulberry Fields in the sense that it used farther imagination. When it comes to poetry, I like a poem that goes outside the lines with imaginative thinking. Bowl did that I enjoyed it more then the three other poems.

Music Is Poetry

I chose the "Train Song" by Vashti Bunyan

Travelling north, travelling north to find you
Train wheels beating, the wind in my eyes
Don’t even know what I’ll say when I find to you
Call out your name love, don’t be surprised

It’s so many miles and so long since I’ve met you
Don’t even know what I’ll find when I get to you
But suddenly now, I know where I belong
It’s many hundred miles but it won’t be long

It won't be long
It won't be long
It won't be long

Nothing at all in my head to say to you
Only the beat of the train along
Nothing I planned on my life on my way to you
Only our love it's over and gone

It’s so many miles and so long since I’ve met you
Don’t even know what I’ll find when I get to you
But suddenly now, I know where I belong
It’s many hundred miles and it won’t be long

It won't be long
It won't be long
It won't be long

It represents a situation of two people being separated for a long period of time. It doesn't exactly say that but the song gives clues just like a poem. The reader is supposed to figure it out. There is a little bit of rhyming but its more about understanding the lyrics.
